Sunday 9th June 2024.

Past members Ian Munday and Martin Brown , where presented with the Winners Trophy by Club President Tina Brown, after reigning victorious at our Past Members Club Competition. 

Well done to Ian and Martin, and a massive thank you to all those that came to compete.

On Sunday 21st April our Club Members took part in the annual Presidents Plate Competition. 

After a amazing afternoon of bowling our President was delighted to award the Plate to this years winners - Penny Hart, Harry Fidler and Brian Harding. 

A hude thank you to everyone who took part and made this annual tradition a huge success. 

Yesterday, Sunday 14th April, saw the season opening of the green at Whittlesey Town Bowls Club. The sun came out, and the green was looking at it's best when the Club President was the first member to place a bowl on the green in 2024.

It was also an opportunity for members to proudly wear our new Club Shirts. These have been kindly sponsored by The New Crown Public House, which is situated next to our Bowls Club. Jonathan and Louise (owners of The New Crown) took time out of their busy Sunday to join us for our Opening Day for 2024. Everyone at the Club would like to pass their thanks to Jonathan and Louise for Sponsoring the shirts.

If you are interested in becoming a member at our Cub please contact us. No bowling experience is needed and you can be ensured of a very warm welcome and making a host of new friends, while being able to learn all the required skills to master this great sport.

Over the last couple of weeks work has been carried out around the Club to ensure that it is ready for the start of the new season on 14th April. The fences and gates have been re-stained and the hallway within the Club House has been repainted. 

Most importantly a lot of hard work has gone into getting the green ready for bowling. Many hours have now been spent tending to the green, and it is now only a couple of cuts and a few days away from being bowled on. 

The Club would like to thank all of the members that have put in a lot of time and effort into getting us 2024 ready.
